He tried scamming me last week thank god I was able to see these reviews and not make that mistake. Shocks me this guy is still on the loose! I see multiple reviews, posts, even TV segments on this guy and cannot figure out how he keeps going? I guess it's easier for this guy to try stealing job deposits as oppose to actually doing the work. Eventually, he'll be in jail it's sad because he presents well it would be much easier if he'd just do the work he promises and then gets paid for the full job, oh well it's too bad.

I really encourage anyone else who has had issues with this company come forward and file a police report. I contacted my local troopers and they are investigating it.

They said if they have 10 complaints the attorney general will go after him with felony charges. We have a chance to finally get this ***.

Original review Jan 23, 2016
My father in law is undergoing cancer treatment so i decided to hire a plow contractor to keep him or his wife from shoveling this winter. Brian was very accomidating to meet up to sign the contract and collect his payment. Of course he isnt fulfilling the contract and refuses to answer the phone. We need to get together and get this guy put in jail for fraud. Ive contacted news 10 nbc and maybe if more of us do too they will investigate like they have in the past.

Cant believe Brian stood up on channel 10 news and lied to the world. I called the MCS dept and told them to get a copy of the judgements for the Monroe County small claims to see tha damage this guy did.

Only jail will pay for all the people this guy robbed. Yes Brian you are a low life thug, petty theif. You are garbage.

Good luck in jail.

Hi,

This is Allison with channel 8. I am doing a story.

Please email me: anorlian@***.com

Thank you,

Allison

Dona Yja

This is an old scam. Here, where we live you hire a guy to plow your drive and then at the end of the season he sends you a bill which you pay.

If someone won't plow unless they get advance payment, it's not wise to hire them.

Remember what P.T. Barnum said about someone being born every day?

Scammed by Brian Robinson

I was also scammed for snow plow removal. Please call the New York State Attorney General's office and fill out the paperwork for a formal complaint: 546-**** to file a complaint; this is the only way to stop him. Currently there is another contractor who is in jail for a similar crime. If enough people file a complaint, charges can be brought to bear against him and his company. I believe his friend Kolby Campbell may also be involved as his name is on the back of a cashed check of mine and he was with Brian at the time of signing.

Thank you for posting this and supplying the Attorney General's number. I will call them.

I've also filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I don't think it will actually help, but it can't hurt. I hired him to plow my driveway and was scammed out of $200.

Despite all the complaints I've found against him, he continues to advertise on craigslist, offering bogus services including snow plowing, landscaping, tree trimming, and remodeling. His current phone number (since he changes it in an attempt to outrun the innocent consumers he's scammed) is 585-773-**** and when I hired him, he called his make-believe business "Apex Home & Landscaping," working under the name of Brian Stevenson.

Snow Removal Fraud

Brian Robinson of Resurrection Enterprises cashed my check and never plowed or salted my parking lot. If, we get enough people together for a large lawsuit we can get him for an actual crime that will put him in jail instead of a slap on the wrist. I will see this through. He plays a convincing character stating to be religious and naming his company after his families church in North Carolina. Don't fall for it cancel your checks immediately if you still have the chance. I will also seek legal action against his girlfriend Ablah El-Amin. We can't let them get away with this.

I had the same experience and am now out 4200. In my case he went by the name of Brian Stevenson and called his business Apex Home & Landscaping.

He continues to post ads on craigslist, offering services including snow plowing, tree trimming, landscaping, and remodeling.

The phone number he's using today (January 18, 2015) is 585-773-****, but he's always changing it to stay a step ahead of unsuspecting consumers. I also found an address for him, but I don't know if it's current: 41 Gillette St., Rochester, NY 14619.

Guest

He just scammed me for $250 for plowing that he never did. How do we put him in jail?

Guest

He scammed me $2400 on my roof. What do I need to do to help get him locked up?

Guest

He robbed me too a couple years ago. Did the same thing, took my money and promised to plow with a seasonal contract.

First snow and he's nowhere to be seen. When I finally got a hold of him he said "I didn't know you had a car!!!" "I didn't know you had an appointment you had to get to !!!" And still wouldn't plow.

I'm a senior and can't shovel due to health reasons. I'm glad the news team finally caught up to him and exposed his little scam.

Paid for Snowplow Contract, But Driveway Not Plowed

Set up a $250 snowplow contract with Brian Robinson on November 23rd and he has yet to come and plow the driveway. His "office" number is no longer in service and he does not return his mobile phone messages. Have left voicemail and tried to reach him numerous times. Initially Brian seemed professional, eager and quite helpful in person. In fact he did an excellent job with tree trimming the day he wrote the snowplow contract. Unfortunately after seeing other people with contract similar issues, this appears to be an ongoing behavior pattern and not an incidental situation. Buyer beware - do not set up work contracts with Resurrection Lawn and Landscape / Brian Robinson.

With the exception of the tree trimming, I had the same experience. I signed a contract with him to plow my driveway for the 2014-**** season and am now out $200.

At the time, he called himself Brian Stevenson and his so-called business name was Apex Home & Landscaping.

He continues to advertise on craigslist, offering snow plowing, tree trimming, landscaping, and remodeling services and uses the following phone number: 585-773-****. At least that's what he's using today.

I am having the same issue. Hired him for 200 for this 2016 season. He doesn't return calls and has failed to plow.

Brian Robinson - Takes the deposit and runs!!!

I gave him a deposit to do simple landscaping job. Did nothing but cash the deposit. Never showed up, never returned a call , never finished the work. Went to small claims court, won. Big deal, Brian doesn't own a thing. If you give this guy work, you are going to be posting on this site days after giving him the deposit that he "needs to buy materials." His home/business address is 41 Gillette Street in Rochester, NY. Stop by the address, you will see how professional his business is. You'll see he doesn't own any of the construction equipment he posts on his ads.

Never showed up today to plow

I broke my own rule of not doing a google search before hiring someone and am now out $175. Mr Robinson answered my phone call yesterday and assured me he would be here one to get the front part of my driveway cleared and next to clear the rest when I moved my car. I am such a sucker. I am disabled and now have to find someone to clear my driveway so that I can pick up my 86 year old mother for thanksgiving. Just unbelievable that people like this are allowed to stay in business and steal from people.

Brian the owner is a *** artist

July 18th, Brian gave me a quote for a brick patio. He stated he needed me to purchase the supplies and I would have to pay him 1/2 the money upfront before he could get started. He claims to be a religious person and told me how hard it is to be a contractor due to people ripping him off. I was told that it would take two weeks, with all his workers and equipment. He never showed up with anything other than 1 other kid and a shovel. After a week and a huge mess in my backyard he was demanding full payment. Then he began threatening me for the balance when only a 3rd of the work was done. My patio wasn't even leveled, he scaled everything down, he didn't put in my walkways, or steps, and he called himself repairing some brick work which was messy and still loose. He tricked my partner into giving him $200. Then about a week after I fired him, he sent his dad and some goons over to try to force me to pay him the balance. I told them to get off my property.

Resurrection Lawn and Landscape Rochester NY are scammers

Hello, I hired Mr Brian Robinson of Resurrection Lawn and Landscape to deliver chunk firewood to my property over two months ago. He was very quick to respond to me and tell me he needed a deposit. He agreed to deliver wood to me on Saturday August 18th. I have the agreement in an email between the two of us. He asked me to send $200 for the deposit. I sent it on the Monday before the delivery and had a trace on the check. He was very quick to cash not deposit the check the next day. Once he had my money he called me once to tell me when the delivery would arrive. The message was very garbled and I could not understand him. I called him at least three times for clarification with no response. Turns out he has two cell phones one that is his fathers and the other that always goes to voicemail. On the Saturday of the delivery I did not hear from him so I called the other cell phone and he answered. He acted very suspicious and said he would call me back about when he would deliver. After a couple hours and no phone call I called him again which he did not pick up. I called from another number and he answered. He claimed he had a broken axle and could not deliver the firewood. So I offered to come get it. He agreed and said he would call me back in a couple hours to tell me where to show up to get the wood6 hours went by with no call. So I called from my phone and of course no answer. So I called from my friends phone about a minute later and he answered, hmmm well I told him I was done with this and I wanted the money returned. I warned him that my family are police officers and I would press charges for fraud if he did not return my money. So I sent an email and said if the money is not back in my hand in bank check or money order by a certian day I would make things very hard and I will not go away. Sure enough no money. He claimed he was to busy working to call me, but he wasn't to busy to CASH my check and run with the money. Please take a look at the link below this guy ha multiple complaints against him.

I was taken for $250 for snow plow services. Same story, same phone calls, same scam.

Yesterday (Jan. 24, 2016) I filed a complaint with the Brighton Police Dept. and today I filed with the Attorney General. I sent scanned copies of my cashed check and the signed contract.

PLEASE PURSUE THIS. If enough people do something he will be caught.

Brian continues his old, filthy tricks, this time as Brian Stevenson the Scamming Snow Plower. I found him through a service called Thumbtack.com and he came to my home in a plow, put stakes in the sides of my driveway, seemed very professional, cordial, and eager to work.

So I signed his contract and paid him $200. When a storm hit a week later, he was no where to be seen or found.

After Googling him, I found that he also goes by the name of Brian Robinson and also runs another scam called Apex Home & Landscaping as well as Resurrection Landscaping Right now, he's calling himself "John" on Craig's list. I only have one of his phone numbers: 585-773-****.

"my bro is good people. YO - Brian It's time to a ride son... *** all these hatters"
